The Gunslingers Art is not lost in the future nor in the past.
Wizard and Glass plus the Dark Tower Series of books perhaps the largest tome that Stephen King has ever done.
As most constant readers know the dark tower series is perhaps Mr. Kings best work with the shreds of what appears to be our world that has impinged on a future world that has been destroyed by a war or many wars.
The dark tower books are woven in-between many different books including some of his older works that are now movies, you have to be a good reader and watcher to know which of these books contains references to the world which Roland of Giliad, is from and the walking man, from the Stand as well as many other books, there are references to this work in many of these tales.
This tells us many things about this book and the author, as also many of you will know Mr.
King was injured by an alleged drunkard, who hit him while not paying attention to what he was doing. His work changed after this and some think that it changed for the worse, but for sure being a victim of a head injury it changes you sometimes for the better sometimes for the worse, you just never know for sure how it will work out in the long run, we may see some different things in the end for Roland and his pals, because of so many things that happened and because of the rush to end the series, so believe that he thought he may not finish the book at all.
Still others believe that he has not actually finished the book but has instead placed it in a state of suspended animation, until such time as the real course of action can be fixed in the absence of the true story which did not truly end but instead left things in a state that you may not like.
If you dare, follow the path and you may yet discover something you never knew. Either way, one thing that many have forgotten was the tale of Susan Delgato.
