"Positive Charges: 544 Ways To Stay Upbeat During Downbeat Times" by Alexander Lockhart is an inspirational little gem of a book. While I was not familiar with Lockhart, I did recognize the authors who endorsed this little book on both the front and back covers, which were Og Mandino, Brian Tracy, and Denis Waitley.
Waitley is so correct when he says the little difference in attitude makes the big difference in performance, and this motivational book helps keep your attitude positive.
On the left page is a quote, often by recognizable people such as Zig Ziglar, Napoleon Hill, Robert H. Schuller, Dale Carnegie, Norman Vincent Peale, W. Clement Stone, and many others. Additionally, there are a number of quote or sayings that are not credited to anyone. The right page contains Lockhart's 544 ways to stay upbeat.
This isn't rocket science.
In fact, if you just quickly read through the book you might think the 544 ways are too simple. But one must remember, often it is the simple things that make the most impact. Do we really need to be told thinks like number 132 "Take time to be friendly? Or 290 "Keep on trying!" Unfortunately, yes we do.This is the kind of book you keep handy to read for exactly what the title describes, to help keep you upbeat. Start each day by reading a few pages and remembering to apply Lockhart's suggestions throughout the day. We are bombarded with negativity all the time. Reading positive books helps us maintain a positive attitude. Reading "Positive Charges" does just that, it provides a positive charge to keep your attitude one of performance. The more positive you are, the better your life will be. We don't have time to be down, so use whatever you can to help you stay upbeat. Use "Positive Charges" to keep you going forward at your maximum potential.
